Dr Xing-Gang Yan currently is a Senior Lecturer in Control Engineering in the University of Kent, United Kingdom.

He worked as a Research Fellow/Research Associate in the Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, the University of Hong Kong, China, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. 
His research subject is Control Theory with Applications in robot system, automated highway systems, networked control systems, high speed railway, flight control and multimachine power systems etc.
