Congratulations to Dr. M. Pilar Cabezas on her appointment as the Associate Editor of Journal of Marine Science

Currently, Dr. M. Pilar Cabezas is a post-Doc researcher at the University of Porto, hired under the project “SARDINOMICS – Development of molecular tools to improve knowledge and management of Sardine stocks”, where I am using Next Generation Sequencing to improve knowledge and management of sardine stocks.
Her main research interest is to obtain a more comprehensive knowledge on marine biodiversity and to investigate the impact that cryptic species and biological invasions may have on our perception about it.
With the joint efforts of the entire editorial team, Journal of Marine Science will soon become an excellent journal in the field of marine science.
