Submission Preparation Checklist

By submitting a manuscript to the journal, the Author(s) verifies that the following items have been met:
  1. The submission has not been previously published under another journal, or is currently under consideration for another journal.
  2. The submission format should be in Microsoft Word. Other word processing software may be considered.
  3. DOIs or URLs have been provided wherever possible in the Reference List.
  4. The document(s) have been formatted according to the requirements under Author Guidelines. The placement of illustrations, figures, graphs, tables, and equations have been integrated into the main manuscript.
  5. Instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed in order to comply with the double-blind peer review process employed.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Veterinary Science Research is an Open Access Journal under Bilingual Publishing CO. All articles published in Veterinary Science Research are accessible electronically from the journal website without the need for subscription fees or other forms of payment from the readers. In order to ensure our content is freely available for the benefit of a wider audience while uncompromising our journal quality, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable to all authors who wish to submit their articles to the journal. The APC is intended to cover the underlying costs of article processing, such as peer-review, copyediting, typesetting, publishing, content depositing and archiving processes. Those charges are applicable only to authors whose manuscripts have been successfully accepted after peer-review.

Welcome Prof. Guozhong Zhang as the Editor-in-Chief of Veterinary Science Research, and we thank the former Editor-in-Chief, Scaglione Frine Eleonora, for all contributions to our journal!


Dr.Guozhong Zhang is a professor and associate dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the China Agriculture University (CAU). His research interests mainly centering on the epidemiology, pathogenesis mechanism and new veterinary medicine development of Newcastle disease virus and avian infectious bronchitis virus. Most recently, he focused his work on the function and subcellular localization of W protein of Paramyxovirus as well as the determinants of the cell tropism and virulence of Coronavirus infectious bronchitis virus.

We hope that under the leadership of the Editor-in-Chief Prof. Guozhong Zhang and with the joint efforts of the entire editorial board, the journal will soon become an excellent journal in the veterinary science field.
